Had a little free time today to enjoy the beautiful weather and hit the Passaic for some fun with teeth. Hit a couple of spots and ended up catching a few pike in the low 20's as well as a couple of nice pickerel up to around 21 inches. The clarity in most spots was great and you couldn't beat the temperature. In most spots the river was alive with smaller bait (and presumably fingerling pike/pickerel) and I even saw a few turtles that weren't quite ready to pack things up for the winter just yet. While the pike weren't big, one of them was an absolutely stunning fish. The entire pike had a golden hue to it, with yellow spots rather than the usual white.
