Miss Belmar - Excellent striper fishing again today!

Over the weekend, striper fishing was no good. We only caught a handful of fish on Saturday and Sunday. At times, we had good readings but Saturday the ocean was very nasty and Sunday the fish just didn’t cooperate.

Today, fishing was very good. We had plenty of bird life and stripers on top with good readings. There was plenty of action with stripers up to 20 lbs along with jumbo blues mixed in. We caught the stripers on most drifts with sometimes as many as 4-5 on at a time. This was a HUGE improvement considering the bad fishing the last few days. Most people caught at least one keeper and some caught their limits along with blues. Overall, it turned out to be a great day and everyone left happy. The next few days the weather looks good so bring your friends and family and come fishing for stripers and blues while you still can. I will post pictures in the morning.
