Default Celtic Stoirm Weekend report

Saturday morning left the dock at 6 a.m. Headed to the deep for bottom fishing - first drop 124 feet. The first fish we landed was a 5.5 Seabass, then a huge porgy. It looked like it was game on, but then it wasn't. We picked at porgies and Seabass and Ling all day. It was a good day, but wasn't great though we had a nice pick of fish. The deepest we fished was 190ft.

On Sunday we left the dock at 7 a.m. with Jim Scoville party out for a day of Bass fishing. Broke the Inlet at 7:20a.m. and observed a couple of boats working right outside the Inlet. So we stopped on some readings, and started to jig. We nailed a short and worked the area but nothing on the jig. Took out the trolling sticks landed 3 Bass. Fishing slowed, so we headed North to new ground and started to catch Bluefish. The Bluefish took over catching - 30 or more which ranged from 8 to 20 pounds. We were back at the dock by 1:30.
