Two beautiful days on the water this long weekend. So thankful just to get out there.
Fished a small, clear, deep pond on Saturday from six to noon. One 15" LM on a senko in 8 FOW on a weed edge.
Fished a shallow, stained, weedy lake with a variety of pads on Monday from six to eight thirty am. Threw a spro frog, caught the skunk. No one else out there. One bank fisherman showed up as I was leaving, hopefully he had better luck. Heard sunnies popping bugs off the bottom of pads?

Saw one decent size swirl. Threw around there for half an hour with the frog and a creature, no luck. I wondered if the frog hitting the water was scaring the fish away because it was so shallow? So I tried softer casts, no difference though.
