Acadia National Park, Maine

I am leaving for a week in Acadia on saturday morning. Between all the hiking, biking, and whale watching with the gf, I would like to try to catch some fish. I know it is probably not the ideal time of year, but I will have my kayak and am willing to do some exploring. Has anyone been in that area before? I would also like to take an hour or two excursion inland to some type of body of water. I am more interested in bass, pickerel, and pike than trout, but I will go after anything. Thanks for any info.
