the sidescan can be right next to the 2D its not a problem diff frequencies, I have mine like that on a Humminbird setup. The HiDef transducer must be a hair lower to not have a dead spot from the 2D one. On a single screw motor setup port is actually better there is less propwash than starboard. Id remove the ducer you have now and install a transducer plate to the hull w 5200 and some screws and then install the 2D and HiDef to that. Remember your sidescan only works at a few mph, after about 7-8 mph you get fuzz and the picture becomes useless real quick on most hulls
