jay easterly third time is the charm 7/18/15









capt's jimmy gahm and dave bender took jay easterly of west reading pa and friends ou for an overnighter which had been weathered out the past two years. we had no bites on saturday july 18 other than a white marlin that got three fre meals. but sunday morning things turned around. we got a three banger of longfin and then the bites we were looking for. we got a double header of bigeyes, but after ten minutes one came unglued. jay did an outstanding job fighting his fish on a very light but strong terez rod. after an hour battle a 135 bigeye was in the boat. we had three more longfin and jay said, " dave, we have all the fish we need, let's not be greedy" these guys were a class act and are already talking about next year.
