![]() I've been on vacation and won't be back until in the States until late July, and I've been dying to get back onto the water, so I've taken the time to write this wall of text
![]() I wanted to try out new lures this year, so I've used little swimbaits (Swim-senkos) and buzzbaits (cavitron) to a good bit of success on LMB and Pickerel. But I haven't strayed from the ol' trusty senko ![]() Ive been fishing Spring Lake, Lake Assunpink, North Branch Raritan, the Toms River, and a couple local Monmouth/Ocean County honey holes. Been picking mostly at LMB up to 3lbs, pickerel up to 18 inches, some dink SMB, crappie, and sunnies. Fish porn below. Also went on a yearly Memorial Day Lake George trip with family friends. Water was colder than usual for that time of year due to a late spring but we picked away at the LMB/SMB by pitching docks with senkos. I had high hook of maybe ~40 1-2lb fish for the three day weekend, and a handful over, biggest one going 3.5 lbs. Saw a ton of much bigger fish that we just couldn't get to commit, maybe its because they were spawning?? Anyways, its always a blast to meet up with everyone and go fishing. Fish porn below. Im also planning to hit some southwest Jersey waters for snakeheads when I come home, so if you have any helpful pointers or tips (that you are willing to share, LOL) please PM me!!! Thanks! As always, tight lines! Shameless14
