![]() With the cold front that pulled in last night into today i decided going into work late would be a great idea. So I called my boss and told him he was a complete zero, lower waste and off to the river I went. Today just seemed like a toothy kind of day. Got to the river around 830 am and it was still high from the previous rains. Ahhhhhhhh, no big deal, I'll just throw 8-12 inch plugs and my pets will bite. Sure enough they did. Managed to land 6 Pike in about 2 hours with a rather large fish that jumped out of the water and spit the hook and plug right back at me. All fish today were 30 inches or better. Pictured are the 3 biggest Pike of the morning. 1st fish measured 33.5 inches. 2nd fish measured 34 inches. 3rd fish measured right at the 36 inch mark. The pic might not do the 36 incher justice but trust me she was. The other 3 fish caught were about 29-31 inches. All fish surprisingly thicker than they normally are thanks to a little extra bait dumping here and there. I'm super thankful that I made it out this morning, my fishing withdrawals were getting me down and I've been a little tense lately.
TIGHT LINEZ!!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() PIKE-A-THON 3 IS ALMOST HERE!!!
