Talking Miss Belmar - weekend wrap up

Friday morning, we fished north of our inlet. We had good readings, nice long drifts and really good fishing on 6-12 lb blues. Ava 27's & 47's worked great. Our pool winner was a 12 lb blue.

Friday afternoon, we fished just east of the inlet and worked our way towards Asbury Park. We caught a couple short fluke and a handful of skates.

Saturday morning, we picked right back up where we were on Friday morning and continued fishing north of our inlet with great results. There were plenty of 6-12 lb blues caught on ava 27's & 47's. There were plenty of readings and it was a really good day of fishing. Our pool winner was John Boise from Lake Hopatcong, NJ with a 12 lb blue.

Saturday night, we fished north of our inlet with no luck. There was not a single fish caught in the entire fleet the entire night.

Sunday morning, we fished up at the tip of Sandy Hook. We would get shots and then it would die out. This continued all day. Some ended up catching and some didn't. The blues ranged from 6-13 lbs all caught on ava 27's & 47's. Our pool winner was Isaac Brown with a 13 lb blue.

Sunday afternoon, we fished the river and caught a few short fluke.
