Prowler5 - Sat. and Sun. 3:30 Bass and Blues Report
Hey gang, Capt. Scott here. I had the boat out Sat. evening for the bass and blue trip. It was a very enjoyable evening. We picked away at big blues all night on one drop. Not too many stripers that night, although there were a few sprinkled in. We fished with fresh bunker and fresh clams. As I posted earlier, Sunday night's 3:30 trip we didn't bother to light up with rain and thunderstorms that we had. I contemplated switching over to fluke Fri., Sat. and Sun. 3:30 until dark, but after seeing the whole bluefish fleet fishing in our bay this week I decided to stay with the bass and blues 3:30 - 9:00 on Sat. and Sun. for the next two or three weeks. I'll keep you posted. No party boats sailed out of Atlantic Highlands Harbor today with the east winds, fog and rain. We'll be lighting up at 5:45 Wed. morning. Come down and join us for some fluking. We've been fishing close to our dock. Thx., Capt. Scott
