Hey everyone! My name's Justin. I've been keeping an eye on this site in order to learn new tactics and hear about everyone's reports for a while now, and I finally decided to join so I can start sharing my adventures with you all as well! I'm a senior in high school, and therefore one of the alleged few young anglers to be found around nowadays

. I love fishing so much that I'm going to be attending college to major in Fisheries Science. Anyways, enough about me.
I went out yesterday on the Ramapo for some trout. Pulled up to the 287 hole to find it pretty packed with only a few guys having a single trout on their stringer. Most of them were drifting bait in hopes of hooking into the freshly stocked and pressured fish. Instead of trying to squeeze in between people, I decided to head downstream to find some less pressured holes. This was probably the best decision I could have made. Fished for 3.5 hours with a Size 5 Countdown in Rainbow trout pattern and managed to land around 7 trout and maybe 4 dink smallmouths. Overall a great day on the water for me, but not so much for those who didn't want to leave their spot.
Got some Go-Pro footage of the day (Until the camera died halfway through the day, should've charged the battery

).
Here's the link to the video. Enjoy!
