BOUNTY HUNTER - Bass & Blues, 5/9
Capt. Paul ran another Open Boat Trip today. On board we had regulars Bryan, Shane, Albert and his 12 year old Son Alex. Paul decided to reverse direction today and again in a steady morning rain and a dense Fog made his way to the grounds. Paul got into some solid reads and put out the Spoons. The big Blues were on the trolled gear immediately and persisted throughout the day. Shane had the first Bass. It was a 40" Beauty which weighed in at 30 lbs. It was followed by Albert's 39" Bass which weighed in at 34 lbs. There are plenty of big Bass around but you have to get thru the Blues. The guy's kept 4 Blues and released the rest.
