Not a bad day outside weather wise. Hooked up with Wilson and went to the top of the South Branch in the Flanders area and worked our way down from there. Stayed off the TCA's. Probably more sightseeing and driving than fishing but that doesn't bother these 2 old farts. Hit the most likely spots all the way down to the Neshanic area, not a fish all day. Wilson was out of the "zone" not having any worms to drown and I was able to feed my appetite for pulling tires out the water so it was a fun day all around. We even fished under Rt. 78 just below the town of Clinton. Saw a few anglers along the way, even ran into a guy from Ohio who was doing construction work in the area so tried to help him and point him in the right direction ( the best the 2 hacks could do) handed him a NJ compendium listing all the spots in NJ (I always keep extra in the car) and we went on our way. Before I head out again I will be sure to get the intel from Jigman
