Thumbs up Reel Class - Quick Update

Things have been quiet w Reel Class Sportfishing for a few weeks bc of weather and other commitments - it seems every weekend day we've had a trip scheduled we've been blown out - the weather has been UNREAL.

But behind the scenes for the last month we've been looking at a beautiful 35' Henriques - 2 1/2 weeks ago an offer was made on the albemarle and 2 fridays ago we made an offer on the 35 that was accepted.

Some things have to be worked out (sea trials, surveys, etc) so nothing is set in stone YET, but things are looking good for this to work itself out. With the Albemarle, a few more little things need to be done for the new owner, and he has to still finish up the trials, and the sea trial and survey on the 35 is later this weekend. Again, if all goes well with the sale of the Albemarle, and things are what I think they are with the Henriques (meaning that the boat is an absolute beast), we'll have things finalized in a couple weeks. If they don't work out, we'll of course keep running with the alby.

Why are we doing this? COMFORT! This boat has a Huge cockpit, a normal cabin with room to sit, even a kitchen and real head, and room to sleep 4 people in the front - but overall I'm making this move to give my guys more room To fish - especially when we have a full 6 on the boat. Our range will also be expanded, and we can possibly start doing some trips to the edge next season

Keep your fingers crossed - hopefully things will be finalized SOON. I put some pics up on facebook - but will gladly share here via email.

...And hopefully, we'll have a real fishing report up here SOON
