Default Paramount Monday Marathon

Got to the boat early to drift clams. First fish is a 17" fluke. Then a long lull and a few snapper later and my 4'9'' microlight goes down like Wicked Tuna. Somehow I stopped it with 6lb test and a 500 series reel. Not quite a keeper but a 27" striper on that outfit is big fun.

We went out with only 9 hardy souls. First 2/3 of the day had a good pick of fair sized ling. Not many jumbos but most were at least a lb. Flounder didn't want to bite at all. Last 1/3 of the day was snotty. We went in a bit early which was a good call.

I wound up with 34 ling and a released 3lb sea bass on my first cast of the morning. Another had 29 ling. A guy near me had 19 ling and the lone flounder. No pool today but I would imagine that the winner would have been around a 3lb ling.

Tried for stripers when we got back and I had 2 snappers, 30 lbs of seaweed and a jumbo Atlantic City turkey that was safely released.
