Back from Cape May
I sailed one day on the Porgy 1V all last week due to NE winds 15-20 knots and light rain. The one day we got out, Monday, we got our backsides kicked. It was like being in a washing machine for eight hours. 4-6 feet waves all day long. I was very surprised that only two men got seasick out of forty. Great odds for the kind of day we fished.
The shorts down south are SHORTS. 12-14 inches. I ended up with six shorts and one keeper. Seven total. We fished with 10-12 oz. sinkers all day. Not many keepers caught.
I really like the way Capt. Paul fishes the rough stuff all day. We fished the Cape May reef. Not his go to spot. But that was the closes rough stuff he could make in those kind of seas.
Can't wait to get the Funny Pharm back out fishing up north here. The weather looks good for most of the week. Good fishing to all!
