Default A day with the fish........

Got an invite from Joey dah fish to fish on the obsession for the day. We lstopped at Atlantic bait and tackle to load up for the day. Pete thought we were nuts and so did I. But it beats a day of work. We left to an angry bay and an angrier ocean. Fought our way down south a bit and started rockin and rollin. We also started pickin fish. A slow pick but a pick. I found the yo dolla dolla a nice four pounder. The "action" slowed down and we made a move to "my spot'. This move proved very productive for one of us. Unfortunately it wasn't me. Joey got his first keeper after I set up the drift. He then got superstitious and handed the helm over to me. I reset and Joey got another keeper. I couldn't even get a bite. Back up again and more fish for "dah fish". At least by this time the ocean sat down nicely and we had a beautiful afternoon.

Joey ended up with two keepers and I had one. Mr zagorski kicked my azz with the shorts as well. Later I would tell him that his brother asked me to take it easy on him as joey has a fragile psyche

All in all a very fun day. It was only the two of us, but the verbal jabs went on all day. We also got to dirty up the cleanest cooler in the state

Once again I donated enough lead to the reef that I may get a letter from the EPA

Thanks joe, would do it again anytime! Joey, thanks for the time at the helm and the trust shown in me. I need all the help I can get. I learn something every time out.
