My Son Caught The Only Keeper - Oh Boy!

When I woke up this morning it was gray and ugly. Jerry called from up north and said the sun was shinning. Asked my wife what our plans were for the day and there was no response. Quickly, I said you need some alone time so I am going to take both boys fishing

Got to the boat and realized I forgot one life jacket but another boater let us borrow one, he was blessed by the fish Gods with 5 keepers today. Set my boys up and my 5 year old had 2 fish in the boat on the first drift.We picked at fished for most of the day but the only keeper was caught by my oldest son (8 years old). He busted on me and Jerry all day.

Dad can I post, "8 year old beats captain, his dad and brother!" What an awesome feeling fishing with my boys. THE BEST NEWS..."Dad, can we go again tomorrow?"


Told them to talk to mom about buying our own boat.
