Got down to the boat and caught some small stripers on clams. Fluking a the dock is still useless at the slip with live snappers dying of old age. Started out drifting in the ocean and we picked up some nice sea bass mixed in with ling, short fluke and loads of tiny sea robins. Then we moved deeper and did very well with small and medium ling. A lot of fish and action today. Pool was a 3lb sea bass. Hi hooks were 3 sea bass and 40 plus ling. At least 4 people I spoke with had 40-45 fish. I only had 1 sea bass and 28 ling as I kept getting small fluke and ling on the drift when others were picking at 2lb sea bass
