Default Del. R. fish structure

Del. R. (muddy) wet wading, thigh deep catching channel cats on crawdad tails. Standing in one spot, minnows occasionally start nipping @ my legs,………maybe they think the hairs are worms? Then,……WHAM!,……..something much bigger bites just below my knee. Man did I jump! No blood drawn.

The next week @ the same spot,…………it bites the other leg!,………..quickly reaching down I briefly felt its head.

Yesterday, @ the same spot,……….I could see the nipping minnows. Then, I felt something bigger against my leg & there it was………..a good size American eel! As he was about to bite, I shooed him off. Probably going after the minnows. I guess I’m good fish structure,.....gonna start using a drop line.
