Fluke Debut- 7/6

[Tenacious Sportfishing]

Took some guys out for a day of Fluke fishing on Sunday. I was apprehensive about the trip because of the poor reports and the unending south wind.
For the first 5 hours we caught short after short and skate after skate in 66 degree water with nothing in the box but ice.
When the wind picked up and we could not hold bottom with 10 ounces, I headed for the M river.
During the next 2 hours we caught 8 keepers, a 24 inch fish and more shorts in 71 degree water.
Nice ending for a frustrating start as you can tell from the smiles.
