Drove up to Harmony twsp early. Started fishing @ 5:30am with BigFishy and Ricanthunder aka Jack Ambien lol. We were looking for the trout again but they didn't really cooperate. Got a small laker and after 3hrs of driving rain we went shallow for smallies. We lost count as to how many we caught. Most fish were in the 18" range. I finally got one on the board at 21" which was nice. The perch and pickerel were also very active..had plenty of action with them. At around noon we decided to pack it in and get ready for the night bite in Clinton

Everyone took a nap through a really nasty t-storm and we were back fishing by 6pm. The hybrids were hungry and catching those drag screaming maniacs was a welcome change. Biggest one was about 23" and 6lbs. We were even treated to some nice smallies that night. A boat close by caught a very nice pike as well. At around 1am BigFishy and I fell a sleep and Jack Ambien was in full effect lol. He caught a few nice eels and I think a catfish. We all woke up at 5am to the sun and geese and zombie drove home. I don't think the Hybrids are in full go mode yet but they will be in a few days. Herring spawn is definitely peaking at night as well.
