Talking Miss Belmar - The slaughter continues!

Friday night, we fished East of Shark River Inlet. We made one drift all night and everyone either had their limit, or was very close to it. It was nonstop action from when we started the drift until we left for home with 5-17 lb blues coming over the rail. Fishing couldn’t have been any better! Our pool winner was Nick Codd from Long Valley, NJ with a 17 pound blue!

Saturday morning, we fished north of our inlet with super results. Everyone caught all they wanted on ava 27’s & 47’s. The blues ranged anywhere from 5-12 lbs and we managed to catch a striper. Our pool winner was a 15 lb striper.

Saturday night, we fished east of the inlet. Fishing started out great for the first few hours then it died off. We made a move to the north east and got the fish started again. Everyone caught blues, and many had their limits, while others managed at least a few. Overall it was a very good trip. Our pool winner was Jose Torres of Rockaway, NJ with a 15 lb bue.

Sunday morning, we headed out north. Once again, fishing was fantastic. We jigged 6-12 lb blues all day and everyone left happy. Our pool winner was a 14 lb blue.

This morning, we headed out east and fishing was still super! We caught 8-14 lb blues all around the boat. Ava 27’s & 47’s worked great. There was plenty of action all around the boat. Fishing doesn’t get any better than this! Our pool winner was a 14 lb striper.

Below are pictures from today and over the weekend.
