Bounty Hunter - Bass To 51lbs. 5/18

Today We had long time Bounty Hunter supporter Harry Delanoy on board. Along with Harry were Mike, Jeff, Greg and Carla. Paul wanted to get away from the Blues so we turned right and headed south. We got into some bait and Bass reads and put out the Trolling gear. As it turned out it was another slow day as the Bass were reluctant to bite. We had several short bites but no takers until one of the reels starter to scream. The initial run peeled over 100 ft. of line off the reel. Mike who was on his first charter trip for Bass took over and worked the line perfectly for over 10 minutes. He was rewarded with a fish of a lifetime as the big Bass tipped the scale at 51 lbs. She was 52 1/2 inches long and was a spawned out female. The big Bass was taken on a Tournament Grade Tackle green & white Spoon. We finished the day with 2 Bass and a happy crew (especially Mike)
