I know there are many diff ways to snell a hook, and this is a new one for me! Never seen the line go through the eye twice. 2 things I didn't like about your method was when using heavy leader like 50 or 60lb there isn't enough room in the eye of the hook and secondly you still have to precut your leader lengths. What I like about the method I linked, you can snell a hook onto the end of your leader without having to precut them, so if I'm just using a spool of 50lb mono I can just continue to make rigs right on up the spool with minimal waste.
