Took advantage of warm temps and ice melting this weekend. 3 days in a row, same spot, but better results each time. Saturday was a slow and steady afternoon, nothing big. Was there for 5 hours, bite died halfway through. managed around 10 perch plus a couple crappie. Yesterday fished around the same time and caught over two dozen, many were great eater size. Today i could only stand the icy winds for an hour and a half, but still nailed a dozen and a half fish before sundown, including a jumbo golden shiner (pike time is coming

). Not a fan of live bait but drop shot worms worked better than gulp for once.
