Saturday Tog

[Foul Hook]

Hosted my annual tog trip with JC and the Golden Touch crew. Leif, Shrimpy, Chumslick and myself rounded out the NJFmembers with 2 others just being wannabe's . The ocean was a bit bumpy through the morning which left hard to feel the bite. We had a few good shots at the tog with a bunch of last years models coming over the rail ( thanks for bonin us fishery managers) I thought is was going to turn on. Chum had 8 shorts in a row all around 14.5, after a few moves the bite was a scratch at best with Leif being high hook then Shrimp, Chum and yours truly only managing a couple of shorts (weak). Capt. John did his best to keep us in the fish but it really just didn't materialize. good day on the Water, I hate saying that , good crew thanks to Steve for filling out the crew after a last minute cancellation. Thanks Golden Touch crew. My back is screaming as I type. Guess the odds will going is for this group.
