Fishermen/ nite fishing report
We started our fall striper fishing this past week and had slow fishing on all 3 nites of looking for them. I tried clamming and drift fishing worms and eels and we managed a half a dozen keepers up to 22.5 lbs and I guess 15 shorts in the 3 nites of bass fishing. We need some cooler weather to drop the water temps a few degrees and by the end of this month we will be catching the bass and the best is gonna be around the next new moon, a little before and a little after. In the meantime we will fish for stripers Mon. nite to Wed, nite at 6;30 and bottom fish the rest of the week. The porgy fishing remains good with croakers and spots filling the pails as well. We will be sailing tonite at 6;30 for info 908-930-2335.
