Default Quick introduction

I've been trolling the site for about the last year reading mostly fluke reports, but recently found the freshwater section and had to join. The website and regulars who share their info (privately or on the board) are of great help.

A little about myself, I live in Bergen county, I'm 38, and I've been fishing as long as I remember. I come from a long line of fishermen, no pun intended. I've lived in NJ for 35 years and spent a few years down in Charlotte, NC. As a kid into my teens I spent my summers staying on and fishing the Great Sacandage Lake, where my grandparents had a place. These days, I fish fluke and blues out of Sandy Hook with my dad, but I much prefer freshwater bass and pike fishing. My favorite spot to fish is the St. Lawrence river, on the NY/Canada border. Locally, I'm constantly fishing different lakes around NJ and Harriman; Ramapo lake, Greenwood, Hopatcong, Monksville, Green Turtle Pond, Haledon Reservoir and more. I'm planning on getting to the Hybrid Meet-n-greet in October on Hopatcong, as I do fish there too. I hope to see some of you there. Anyhow, thanks again for everyone making this site valuable by sharing info, and thanks Gerry for providing the platform to do so.
