mad gaffer fluke report Friday 8/23

we had an hour of up and down fluke fishing this morning that would have rivaled any old time mackerel trip . but I thought a 15 to 1 short to keeper average was not good enough, I pressed on, although we had boated a reasonable amount of keeper given the time we had put in. the keepers we boated although nice were all 18 to 20 inch fish and I thought I could do better . WRONG ! we did catch a number of 3,4,and even one 5 pounder but the catch might have been better had I hung in where all the action was. never know, no guts no glory, or hold the hand you are delt ? . it was still a good day. we still have room on Sunday as well as the rest of the week call for info & res. .
