Default This time I got my fish!

Returned to the scene of the crime where I lost a fish yesterday. Started at the exact same spot and threw the exact same frog. Something bit the leg off, but didn't take the hook. My cousin and I worked the area for about 45 minutes and fish were biting and tearing up our bait, but nothing. Finally I set up in a nice spot and threw in a 4 inch purple senko Texas rigged and bam fish on! Right away the thing heads into a bushy area and my line gets caught up. I kept my cool and worked my line free, as soon as I do I hear my cousin who's down stream yelling that he can see my fish running past him! Reel it in with a decent little fight and land my first slime dart! Probably about 20 inches and I have no clue what it weighed. Got the hook out quick and set it back in where it just sort of sank. Don't die I said out loud, took hold of it and just moved it back and forth a bit and zoom it was gone like a little rocket!
That's when I realized how hard my heart was beating! What a thrill! Not a beast, but I'm on my way. Sorry no picture, still working on that aspect of the sport!
