Me and my crew Team Super Cool, featureing the RATTLE SNAKE, (10 and 12 year old girls) hit the Robin this morning. The youngest had never caught a bluefish bigger than 7inches off the beach. Arrived at the scene of the crime and GAME on with the little guys. We had a blast and perhaps out fished the entire boat? Just guessing??? We also saw a shark swiming off the side of the boat, and one large ray brought to the boat and gently unhooked. One guy was dressed like we were fishing the Bearing Sea.
Later, the oldest daughter hooks up on a MONSTER
and I take over...not a fish, but must have been another ray which nearly spooled me before our 10lb line gave. I thought I was reeling in a refrigerator except there was life on the other end. Heading out tomorrow for a repeat. The youngest said, and I quote: "I can't wait till tomorrow!"
Mama Super Cool will be in tow tomorrow and there are new possibilities.
Will post pics of our two trips tomorrow.
