kil song's bluefin trip 8/3/13

capt's jimmy gahm and dave bender had the pleasure of having kil song of jignpop on board this past saturday august 3rd 2013. kil had some friends who were out two previous days in a row seeking bluefin on other boats but had no luck so we had to do our best to produce. as you know kil is a jig master but his friends were more suited for trolling. we were about 50 miles off and things looked bleek, so we steamed in about 10 miles and had fish right away. we trolled five bluefins to about 40 pounds and stopped a few times to jig, but no love. it was a pleasure to have kil on board, he is a gentleman to say the least. one word of advice for all charter captains, if you have any ice cream on board, i suggest you hide it.. he found jimmy and seans stash in the freezer...all gone!!!
