Default Tackle Box suggestions

Recently I just went bass fishing at Lake Crieghton and caught 1 Decent bass and missed one that leaped out the water and got the hook. It was a fun trip except I lost almost all my good lures. Lures I used and had success on before were baby bass crank bait and pumpkinseed neon green curly tail power bait lures. My friend uses senkos and they have worked but personally i am not a fan of them. I want to buy some new lures when I go to replace them but I usually go in blind. I have wasted money on a rattle trap and some pre riged plastic worms. I really don't want to waste any of my money so any help for bass lures would be greatly appreciated. Snag prevention tips and knots would also be helpful. Thanks
