Default Cape cod tuna fishing.

Finally hooked 2 nice tuna but lost both.
We launched from Chatham around 4:00am. There were two boats ahead of us already. The way out to our fishing ground, all the bird going same direction. Finally we saw a lot of birds working on bait pod and saw tuna crushing them. I tried our swim bait but no takers. Saw tuna working under the birds so switched to sinking dorado slider, suddenly I heard Ben screaming he is on... Nice!! I keep throwing my dorado sliders at bow, after few birds, I got tight too. But it only lasted less then a 60 second, some how my JB 100 line broke... It was weird as rod tips got weird action almost like when you have bad sticky drag... Well, that was story of my tuna.

Ben asked me let's finish his fish quick and chase them again. We quickly brings the fish boat side saw colors. But
Hook pulled when he made last head shake.. I still feel little weight when I bring the line in, a dead bird on rear treble hook.. What the .....
Looked like we got bird and tuna same time time, since the bird was on first, tuna did get solid hook set... I guess. Did and body heard tuna eating bird? I guess not.. Feel really sorry for the bird. At least it experienced fast swimming in the water with tuna.. And saved his life.

We had another chance but did not get tight...

We are getting close, first trip, no tuna, second trip, saw tuna, third trip, hooked but lost, 4th trip,

Thanks.
