Clark Res -- after work on 5/29/2013
Fished Clark Res last night from 5-8:30 PM with a buddy. It was HOTTT. And there was a snow-like fibrous bloom coming down from who the hell knows where that shitted up your line everytime we casted. But we fished thru it...
We threw senkos for a while. My friend hooked up pretty quickly on 2 dinks as we worked the shoreline "to the right". He wandered a bit ahead of me and switched to a moss mouse. It paid off nicely. See below. That was his third or fourth fish while I had ZERo. I put on a frog close by but nada.
Switched back to the senko and worked the shoreline "to the left". I finally got a tug. Managed 3 dinks. As it got darker I made a cast towards some pads well off the bank about 30 ft out. As soon as the senko hit the water WHAMMO! Nice lil' toad...
My buddy had 4-5 fish with a chubber and I had 4 with my chubber. My fish looked like it swallowed a billiard ball. I guess they're not all spawned out yet...
Catch em' up!
