SLOB Smallie & Some PIKE........

Headed out for a couple hours after work. Glad I did cause I found some decent action.

First hour was real slow. No hits, no follows, couple snags. Then for the last hour, it started to pick up. Not sure if it was the crankbait I threw on or just the time of day , but, soon after, I got 3 pike in a matter of 30 mins. Each one hit hard and fought well. When I hooked the second one, the lure landed, I twitched it once, and the fish EXPLODED on it top water style!!! Good stuff!!!

Moved on to another location and, after a few casts, got hit hard again. This time I was surprised to see a FAT smallie splashin around. Real nice belly on her. Don't think she could have jumped if she tried but she pulled like a beast!!! CPR her and called it a day.............
