Groundhog Day Piking
Braved the cold for some Pike today and it didn't disappoint. First cast I hooked up with something decent but lost the fish. A few minutes later I landed this guy on the husky jerk, measured out to 30" and healthy. Had a few bobbers go under, lost a couple but managed to land a couple. My buddy picked up a well-fed guy on a shiner, very healthy as well. I snagged into a fat carp as well, but it "kicked" the hook when I tried to horse him in
 . Packed it in around 4pm, good day to be out there. Water was high and cold.
