Default Trout survey

The NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife is continuing its second phase in seeking trout angler input on New Jersey trout fishing through the release of an online survey. Phase one consisted of a recently conducted telephone survey of 1,300 anglers who bought a trout stamp in recent years. If you did not participate in the telephone survey the online survey is your opportunity to provide input to the Division of Fish and Wildlife.

The online survey takes less than 15 minutes to complete and includes questions on species preferences, creel limits, and specific trout stocked waters. The online survey will be available until February 8, 2013, so don't miss out on your opportunity to help guide future decisions related to trout fishing in New Jersey. The survey link is available on the division's webpage at http://www.njfishandwildlife.com or directly at https://www.research.net/s/NJFishand...012troutsurvey.

Participants must provide a Conservation ID Number (CID#) to take the survey. Resident anglers 70 and older should use the CID# from the last license purchased or contact the Division of Fish and Wildlife at (908) 637-4640 if assistance is needed. Preliminary results from both this survey and the telephone survey will be presented at the upcoming Annual Trout Meeting held February 16, 2013 at the Pequest Trout Hatchery. More information is provided about the meeting at http://www.njfishandwildlife.com/new...troutmtg13.htm.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to provide your input through the survey. Feel free to pass this information along to other NJ trout fisherman. Together we can make the future of trout fishing in New Jersey even better!
