snap swivels

It looked like on the last fish of the upper delaware river video (littlemouth on golden spinner) that you used a snap swivel, if so wanted to hear peoples opinions on swivelling or not. have always thought a swivel on a minnow would help it swim more naturally but can't find the ball bearing (alnico?) in the small size.
