Hit that Robert st. area this late morning between 11 and 230. Rivers looking good after the dam removal. We'll see what kind of shape it takes after a few heavy rains. The Smallies are definitely still there, like taking candy from a baby. It wasn't a banner day but I managed to get a bakers dozen averaging between 8-14 inches. Then I see a school of 4-5 MONSTER SMALLIES swimming around in circles, these bad boys were all over 18 inches. Managed to get 2 of them on the tube jig. The first big boy went 19 inches. The second bruiser SMALLIE went 19 1/2 inches, now thats AWESOME!!! The other Smallies ran and hid after they saw me take out 2 of there buddies. 1 of the fish in the school was well over 5lbs, the GODFATHER of all the SMALLIES in the area. Ill be back for him, oh yes I will!!! Gotta love midday fishing. TIGHT LINES!!!
