Friday, we went up to Candlewood Lake in Conn. near Danbury. Fishing itself up there was great as the bigger fish came out in the ****ty weather (rain most of the day, cooler with temps only getting into the low 70s). A bunch of smallies and largemouth over 3lbs with my buddy getting a 4lb'er. Overall, great day being that the lake has been pretty tough lately in the hotter weather.
Here's one of my better ones:
Last night, we decided to do a little overnight fun tournament at a RVR. Tough most of the night with a lot of small fish messing with our minds, but of the few fish I caught, I hit a new PB. 5lb 2oz LMB. We won with 3 fish. My pig, and my buddies (2) 1-2lb'ers. The other guys struck out.
