So I've caught a lot of PIKE out of 1 stretch of river over the past several years, but those fish have left that stretch due to floods and maybe lack of forage. I was fishing from the Great swamp down to the Passaic River park on Snyder Ave for years, lots of Pike caught up to 40 inches with even bigger lost. Time to move on, so yesterday and today I pounded a new stretch of river that I havn't put much time into. I found the silly little PIKE and plenty of other fish for them to feed on carp, largemouth, gills and some other small fry swimming around. Between yesterday and today I landed 14 Pike, however i didn't find anything huge in this stretch. All Pike were between 16-27 inches, no follows from any big Pike, many were missed. I can tell you that this stretch is STACKED with PIKE!!! Im glad i found them again, walking the banks of the mighty Passaic aint easy! Covered about 15-17 miles of shore line in recent months, Im back on there trail!!! GOOD TIMES, TIGHT LINES!!!
