Spring Lake Kids Trout day

My sweetwater goto guy is outta town and I want to take my 5 yo grandson this Saturday. Is there anyone with some insight i.e.: best bait or shoreline location that you'd be willing to share. He's not a spot burner ... hell , he can't even spell " spot". Thanks for any help. PM me if you like.
