Good start!

With the nice weather I decided to hit up a spot for Pickerel. Glad I did. Fished from 4-5 pm. Started of slow but then nailed two nice ones in the last half hour . First one was a nice 22 in healthy and heavy Pick. The second one was a bit smaller but had a fat belly. Love catching a predatory fish that still has its breakfast in its throat and still wants more. You could just see the sunny tail sticking out of throat . Good way to start the 2012 season. Regreting not coming out earlier, could've caught a couple more fish .
