Assunpink/Pemberton Lake 5/11
Hit Assunpink yesterday as I had a 1/2 day of school. With the crappie fishing we had over at Pemberton Lake, I figured it would be lights out over there. Well, I was WRONG. The wind kicked up and we couldn't drift right. Even if we did find them, we would have had to troll them because drifting was again impossible. Fished from 2:00 to 3:15 pm and had 2 crappies and 1 sunfish. So we headed back to Pemberton. We fished the entire lake and did find some crappies. We had 24 bass, crappies, perch,and sunfish there. We fished there from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. So in 3 hours we had 27 fish. Not a bad afternoon of fishing at all.
