Are you sure because every boat I've been on out of Mass does a two day limit for groundfish on 24 hr or greater trips. I believe there are different regs for tuna and groundfish. Capty Greg of the YC indicated that if the trip is over 18 hrs and covers two days and has two licensed captains, you can keep two day limits for groundifhs. Maybe it is a state regulatory issue?

if you go out at 1pm for tuna and catch 3 yft per my by 7pm.. dont wait until midnight and catch 3 more per man.. doesnt work like that.. just wanted to let yo know that.. i am NOT stirring the pot.

I spoke to Capt. Jimmy about this. Lenght of trip has nothing to do with it.

1) We will be fishing in federal waters

2) NJ Has no limit on Cod except size.

SO NO LIMIT
