Great advice right there!

Probably overkill for ling but you might want to check out the avet SX line since they offer 2 speeds like you see here https://www.avetreels.net/reel-series/?cat_slug=sx the 2 speed models takes your line per crank from 21 to 36 inches... I have the MX 2 speed that I use when fishing deep or when trolling when I have tons of line out.. The 2 speed does come in handy to get lines in quicker or if you're on a fish drop it down and you have a lot more cranking power.
