GOLDEN EAGLE - AN EXCELLENT DAY WITH THE BLUES!

On today’s Morning Trip, we did a little looking around and ended up along the edge of the mud hole chumming and fishing on top of the mounds. It started off slow picking at the SEA BASS and the MACKEREL.

By mid-day, we had 2 to 4lb. BLUES up along side of the boat in the chum slick. We had 1 to 2 on with shots of 5 to 6 on at a time!

Numerous anglers had their limit of BLUES along with SEA BASS and MACKEREL. Bait had the advantage of the BLUES along with anglers doing well with poppers.

It was a GREAT DAY OF FISHING AND BEAUTIFUL WEATHER. We will be out again tomorrow - DEPARTURE 7:30AM SO COME FISHING FOR BLUES. The weather continues to look really nice for quite a few days.

THE WEATHER IS LOOKING GREAT FOR OUR 16 - 18 HOUR SPECIAL INSHORE EXOTICS TRIP THIS MONDAY, JULY 24TH AND FISHING IS HEATING UP IN THE CANYONS. We primarily target BLUEFIN TUNA as well as MAHI, ALBIES & BONITO. The boat departs at 10pm and returns the next day around 3pm. THERE ARE STILL SOME SPOTS OPEN so make your reservations now for this exciting trip.
